Week 3 - Second Playtest (Dean)

For the second week of prototyping we were given a prompt called "Corrupted Vision" to work from.

I thought I'd like to continue work on my previous prototype from week one so I began by trying to figure out a way I could implement the prompt into my game. I came up with a few ideas, one being for the player to wear a blindfold in a certain part of the game but ultimately I didn't choose that because the prototype I was creating I wanted to keep as simple as possible and for it not to have a ton of requirements to play, so to substitute that I recreated it in an easier way by simply using the D4 again and assigning different values to the four numbers on the dice; 1 being that you can keep both your eyes open, 2 being that you have to close only your left eye, 3 being that you have to close only your right eye, 4 being that you have to close both of your eyes.

For as when this process comes about, it would happen right after you roll the D4 previously on the "Triangle Baseball" stage.

I believe that the implementation of this stage to the game adds another form of difficulty to the it, as before without it was quite easier to play and with the players that I studied on the previous playtest most of them easily flicked it past base 3 which ultimately led to players scoring points way too easily.
